The SmallRig 5411 ND filter set is designed for the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro and Osmo Action 4 cameras and allows for better control of light levels when filming in various conditions. The set includes FS ND8, FS ND16, FS ND32, and CPL filters, allowing you to adjust your recording settings to match the intensity of the lighting and reduce unwanted reflections. Full-spectrum technology ensures uniform light reduction across the entire wavelength range, which helps minimize color cast and preserve natural color reproduction. The snap-on design allows for quick attachment of the filters without removing the lens cap, and the included silicone cover protects the lens during storage.
Natural Colors and Better Exposure Control
Full-spectrum filters are designed to reduce the amount of light reaching the lens without significantly altering the color balance of the footage. The FS ND8 filter is ideal for shooting in bright, sunny conditions, the FS ND16 helps preserve detail in both shadows and highlights under moderate lighting, while the FS ND32 is designed for very bright light and creative shots with motion blur, such as light trails. The CPL filter, in turn, reduces reflections from non-metallic surfaces—including water and glass—thereby improving the visibility of details when filming through glass or above the water’s surface.
Durable Glass and Protective Coatings
The filters are made of Rainbow High-Alumina glass, which offers good resistance to impacts, scratches, and external factors. Multi-layer coatings on both sides of the glass support accurate color reproduction while reducing the buildup of water, grease, and dirt. This makes cleaning the filters easier and ensures their surface performs better during field recording and in variable conditions.
Quick Installation and Convenient Storage
The snap-on design allows you to attach the filter directly to the camera without removing the lens cap, enabling you to prepare your equipment more quickly for the next shot. The entire set weighs approximately 32.9 g, making it convenient to carry and easy to take along on trips, workouts, or outdoor shoots. The included soft silicone lens cap helps protect the lens from dust and accidental scratches when the camera is not in use.
