The GL.iNet Mango (GL-MT300N-V2) is a compact travel router offering Wi-Fi 4 connectivity at speeds of up to 300 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band. Its stable performance is ensured by an MTK MT7628NN 580 MHz processor, supported by 128 MB of RAM and 16 MB of Flash memory. With its small dimensions of 58 × 58 × 25 mm and a weight of just 40 g, the device fits easily in a pocket, bag, or backpack, making it ideal for travel, remote work, and everyday use.

The router allows you to turn a public wired or wireless network into a private Wi-Fi network, enhancing your online security in hotels, airports, and other public places. It supports OpenVPN and WireGuard® protocols, a built-in firewall, WPA2-PSK and WPA3-SAE encryption, and a guest network. Additionally, it supports DNS over TLS using Cloudflare, which encrypts DNS queries and helps better protect user privacy.

Four Ways to Access the Internet

The router offers great flexibility thanks to its support for four methods of connecting to the network. You can share your Internet connection via an Ethernet cable, repeater mode to extend the range of your existing Wi-Fi network, a compatible 3G/4G USB modem, or tethering. This makes it easy to adapt the router’s operation to your current conditions and available network infrastructure.

Practical Features and Convenient Power Supply

The device is equipped with two 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports (WAN and LAN), a USB 2.0 port, three LEDs, a reset button, and a function switch. Users also have access to UART and GPIO interfaces, which can be used in DIY projects. The router is powered via a Micro USB port (5 V / 2 A) and can be connected to a laptop, power bank, or standard AC adapter. Low power consumption of less than 2.75 W allows for long-term operation without placing a significant load on the power source.
