SMALLRIG 5338 Arca-Standard Phone Mount

The SMALLRIG 5338 is a phone mount designed for mobile filming, compatible with the DJI RS 4 Mini gimbal and tripods that use the Arca standard. It allows you to quickly switch your smartphone’s orientation from landscape to portrait without using any additional tools, making it easy to adjust the setup to suit the type of footage you’re shooting. The mount supports phones ranging from 64 to 100 mm in width and up to 15 mm in thickness, even with a case on, and has a maximum load capacity of 500 g.

Quickly Change Your Phone’s Orientation

The SMALLRIG 5338’s design allows you to switch between portrait and landscape recording without having to remove the phone from the mount. Adjustments are tool-free, so you can change the orientation without having to reconfigure the entire setup. The clamping range of 64 to 100 mm accommodates both smaller and larger smartphones, including the iPhone 16 Pro Max with a case.

Mounting Additional Accessories

The Arca-compatible base allows for direct mounting of the mount on compatible tripods and the DJI RS 4 Mini stabilizer. There is also a 1/4"-20 mounting hole, which allows you to connect the mount to additional photography or videography equipment. A cold shoe located on the side of the mount allows you to attach a microphone, video light, or other compatible accessory.

A Design Based on Specific Parameters

The grip is made of aluminum alloy, stainless steel, and silicone, and measures 101.5 × 38 × 44 mm. The SMALLRIG 5338 weighs approximately 85 g, ensuring that a precisely defined load is added to the stabilizer or tripod while maintaining the mount’s maximum load capacity of 500 g. Silicone pads at the points of contact with the smartphone help keep the device securely in place during mounting and use.
