SMALLRIG NP-FZ100 Replacement Battery
The SmallRig NP-FZ100 4269B is a dummy battery adapter—that is, a battery designed for compatible Sony cameras that use NP-FZ100 batteries. The kit allows you to continuously power the camera from a wall outlet, so you don’t have to interrupt your work to replace a discharged battery during long video recordings or live streams. This solution can also be useful during streaming, podcast recording, or studio work; however, it requires constant access to a power outlet.
Fits into the battery compartment
The power supply unit has the same dimensions as the original Sony NP-FZ100 battery, so it can be placed in the appropriate compartment without any fit issues. The improved electronic circuitry ensures full decoding, allowing a compatible camera to correctly recognize the connected power source and prevent the display of a “battery not supported” message. The adapter is compatible with, among others, the following Sony cameras: α6600, α9 II, α7 III, α7R III, α1, α7C, α7S III, α7R IV, α7R V, α6700, FX3, FX30, α7CR, α7C II, α7 IV, ZV-E1, and ZV-E10 II, among others.
Safety Features During Operation
The SmallRig 4269B is equipped with protection against overvoltage, overheating, overcharging, and short circuits. This is important during extended recording sessions, when the camera and power system may operate for many hours without interruption. The unit is constructed from fire-resistant PVC and ABS materials, and the product complies with CE and RoHS certifications.
Power Adapter with European Power Cord
The included power adapter supports an AC input voltage of 100–240 V at a frequency of 50/60 Hz, providing the power needed for continuous camera operation. The output voltage ranges from 7.6 to 8.4 V, while the maximum output power is 25 W. The set also includes a European power cord, so it is ready to be plugged into a standard electrical outlet.
